A Day in the Snowy Countryside.

One of our three Alternative Education classes for 'drop outs' has the use of a room in a Cinema complex donated by the owner, a concerned Mongolian businessman. There are over 50 children who attend these classes each morning, stay for a hot lunch and cultural talk. They are mostly still at home but live in very impoverished circumstances and are at risk of becoming 'street kids.' A few are living on the streets already.

Recently we decided to take advantage of a nice fresh snowfall and hire a bus to take these children and some of their parents out of the city for a while to experience something new. They had a glorious day on the slopes, playing games, wrestling, sack races and generally having fun like any normal child should be able to do by right. Here are some shots to record the day.
