Question:
Dear Peter and Sue, my question is:When you flew over Mongolia you said there was all desert so where do you get your water supply from and do they have any swimming pools
Answer: There are large lakes and rivers in the north and west of Mongolia but mainly the water supplies come from underground bores. The countryside has fresh water springs in places which I have tasted and its beautiful tasting water. The Tuul River runs by the city and in summer brave people swim in it. Pete has but its colder than our rivers in winter.! I dont know of any private swimming pools but believe there is a commercial one.
